yeah it can be a bit slow alright but once you get over the intricacies of php it should work ok. Of course it could be down to whatever operating system you are using as well, but hey I’m no expert! I’m just learning By the looks of it you are the expert here, plenty of experience in the ole web design I’m assuming it’s configured to work with dreamweaver. Maybe the host,when developing restricted the uploads to just jpg? and you might need to compile php with gd library of image functions to work property and faster? You could check out http://www.mysqlfreaks.com or http://www.phpfreaks.com or freewebmasterhelp.com. There are tutorials and helpful hints there on how to accept and load images etc in mysql and php. I kinda have a look there when I get stuck!

Nah, the front-end has been designed and built, it’s the functionality that’s slow to complete – it’s php with mysql db, with some ajax functions. Thanks for offer tho.

Depends on what application you are using. Are you using Frontpage, Dreamweaver or anything like that? If I knew what you were using for the programming etc I could probably throw some light your way!
